There are approximately 14 places in the Noble Qur'an where it is Wājib (compulsory) for a person to perform a Sajdah when the respective verse is heard or recited. Generally, the Sajdah Tilawah verses are marked in the Qur'an.
The removal of unwanted hair, i.e. hair of the armpits, below the navel and pubic areas is amongst ten natural traits of man.
Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Whoever performs his Fajr Salah with congregation, and then remains seated remembering Allah until after sunrise, after which he performs 2 Rakaats of Salah (Salatul Ishraq), will receive the reward of a complete Hajj and Umrah.” (Tirmizi)

The laws pertaining to inheritance and succession are considered to be among the most important aspects of Islamic Shariah law. A baby shower is a party held to celebrate the coming of a new baby. Baby showers are a relatively recent phenomenon and are called up by friends or family of the expectant mother to 'shower' her and the child to be with gifts.

Allah Ta'ala has granted permission to people who are aged or terminally ill and have no hope of fasting again in their life, to compensate for each fast by feeding a poor and needy person (two complete meals for a day). This compensation is referred to as 'fidya.’
It has become common for Muslim businesses to decorate their businesses and advertise their products using traditional decorations of other religious festivals. Muslims should understand that adopting this way will not bring any more profit to our business, rather it serves to align us with the festival and challenges our identity and allegiance as Muslims.

Allah Ta'ala says in the Qur'an: “Take due care of all the Salah, especially the middle Salah and stand before Allah in total devotion.” In another verse it is mentioned, “And establish Salah and discharge Zakah and bow in Ruku with those who bow.” (Surah Baqarah)
A person is required to remain silent and listen attentively whilst the Jumuah Khutba is in progress. Talking to others and being distractive whilst the Imam is delivering the Khutbah is not allowed. Great rewards have been promised to those who remain silent and listen attentively to the Jumuah Khutbah.
The merits of occupying the first Saff (row) for Salah are soundly established from the Hadith. Generally, people have become unmindful of these great rewards and tend to forego this opportunity to earn easy rewards. There is a tendency for people to sit in the rear of the Masjid before Salah. Ideally one should make an attempt to occupy the front row as soon as one enters the Masjid.
It is permissible to utilise the skin of the Qurbani Animal for one's personal use, e.g. as a Musallah or to make a pouch, etc. However, if the skin is sold, it is not permissible to use the income thereof for oneself. It is Wājib to give this money in charity. Sale of the skin without the intention of donating/ giving the money in charity, is not permitted. (Durrul Mukhtar)
