electricity and lights, comfortable carpets, Imaam and Mu’adhin, security and cleaning personnel, parking, etc. so that we may perform our Salah comfortably. Many Masjids also relay lectures, Azaan and Salah via receivers and/or live streaming so that our families may benefit.

In light of the above, have we ever thought about our monthly contribution to the Masjid?

We understand the costs associated with various services and utilities we require in life and contribute happily towards these - internet connection, cell phone contracts, etc.

Now we should ponder - what share is there in our monthly budget for the Masjids whose facilities we make use of? If not, then immediately start your regular contribution to the Masjids. If we look after His house, He will look after our house!
