This measure is temporary, and will bring South African motorists financial relief.

This means that the fuel levy will decrease from R4.10 to R1.10 per litre for petrol. Diesel will decrease from R3.93 to R0.93 per litre.

Both departments continue to ensure South Africans that there is “sufficient fuel supply in the country to meet current and projected demand”.
