Q: What is the Shari ruling with regards to having Christmas decorations, Santa and Elves etc. in my store? It is just to create a theme.

A:This must be avoided by Muslims. Though it may appear nowadays merely as a theme but it has definitely got religious connotations of Christians. The Hadith emphatically says that whosever adds to the glitter and glamour of a nation/people, then such a person is counted from amongst them. (Daylami) May Allah Ta’ala protect us all.
