Q: Please could you tell me what is the correct way of disposing of the Placenta after birth and whether getting it incinerated is allowed?

A: It is important to treat the human body and parts of it with respect. The placenta/afterbirth etc. should therefore be buried. Hence one should request this from the hospital and bury it. It should not be incinerated.
